Barca have signed the German boss as their new manager, and since then he has been making headlines. To overturn FCB’s fortune in the Spanish championship as well as the Champions League, Hansi Flick might look to bring in some key players to the FCB bench.
But given Barca’s recent financial stress, FCB spectators are quite keen to look at the way the German foresees his plan for the transfer market and selects players who fit in the FCB setup.
Here are six faces that Flick might have in mind.
Joshua Zirkzee
Flick would like to reunite with the Dutch international, who made a stunning debut under him at Bayern. The Bologna forward is one of the finest players to be assigned to FCB’s forward line, but owing to his 40 million Euro market value, his place can only be made at the loss of a player like Ferran Torres.
Anthony Martial
The Frenchman has spent 9 years of his career with the Red Devils. This would be one of the most desired signings at Camp Nou, as the FCB frontline needs quick reinforcement, and the versatile forward would be a perfect choice to fill in any attacking position.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting
The Cameroon star was Bayern’s replacement after Lewandowski left the Bundesliga in 2022. He enjoyed a great scoring streak before his prominence waned with a knee injury and the transfer of PL veteran Harry Kane. As a free agent, he can be Flick’s preferred signing as a bench reserve in the position of a forward.

Jeremie Frimpong
One of the pioneering reasons behind Bayer Leverkusen’s championship triumph was that the Dutch wingback would be a too-rich buy for the Spanish giants until they release some key players. Frimpong has been offered a deal by several teams; however, he can be a target signing for FCB and Flick to fill in the void of their acute agility and precision.
Bernardo Silva
The Portuguese playmaker is one of the most desired signings at Camp Nou since long. His tuning with former teammate Iikay Gundogan would be a move to strengthen the FCB midfield. However, with FCB’s low purse, signing a player of Silva’s caliber seems like a hefty decision this summer.
Joshua Kimmich
Possibly he would be Flick’s first-hand choice if they had an overflowing purse. The German wingback is too versatile to play at any position and is quick to attack. The German boss has seen inevitable success with the great flying wing back at Bayern, and their union would be a chance for either man to enhance their trophy cabinets.
