IPL 2025 Final: RCB vs PBKS Highlight, RCB won their maiden IPL trophy

Royal Challengers Bengaluru finished their 18-year-long wait and won first time the IPL trophy. Virat Kohli in tears as he couldn’t control his emotions after finally won the IPL trophy. An emotional Virat Kohli was visibly overload in tears, having at last raised the coveted trophy he had long dreamed of. In the last over of the match 29 runs were required off and Shashank Singh tried hard by scoring 22 off them. However, in the last it was RCB’s night.

From the RCB side, Bhuvneshwar Kumar hitted two times in the 17th over removing Nehal Wadhera and Marcus Stoinis in rapid succession which shift the match completely in the favour of Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In starting three wickets in the quick succession of Prabhsimran Singh, Shreyas Iyer and Josh Inglis brought RCB back into the match.

From the Punjab Kings opening pair Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh scored total of 43 in five overs. Phil Salt taking a brilliant catch in the deep to send back the left-handed Priyansh. RCB scored 190/9 from their 20 overs against Punjab Kings. From RCB side Virat Kohli was the highest scorer with 43. Virat Kohli missed his fifty and reaction of Anushka Sharma says it all. In the past on a pitch where 200-plus totals have been chased easily, gears of RCB were pushed, giving Punjab Kings no reason to change their approach whatsoever.

Laying a solid foundation in the powerplay RCB reached 59/1 after 6 overs. Agarwal’s aggression complementing steady presence of Kohli, keeping RCB in a strong position as they focus for a commanding total.
