Vaibhav Suryavanshi made headlines when at the age of only 13 years he became the youngest player to get an IPL contract. In the IPL 2025 auction he was signed by Rajasthan Royals after less than two months he scored a hundred for India U19 in a four-day game in Chennai.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a left-handed batter from Bihar made his first-class debut in January 2024. He becoming the second youngest player to participate in the Ranji Trophy. Later in the year 2024 he scored century against Australia U19, and couple of half-centuries in the U19 Asia Cup in the UAE. During the trials in Nagpur,he also impressed the Rajasthan Royals management and they ended up signing him for 1.1 crore, surpassing Delhi Capitals at the auction table.
