Since late July 2024 Yashasvi Jaiswal has not played T20Is. The squad that won the T20 World Cup which was in last year Yashasvi Jaiswal was the part of the that squad but did not get a single match. While since 2023 he has been a regular in Tests, he has not been able to occupy a place in T20Is. His only One day International came at the begin of year 2025. Currently, he knows he has to make an impression to stay on the radar of selector when the squad is chosen for the T20 World Cup.
From 23 matches in 22 T20I innings with two not-outs, Jaiswal has scored 743 runs in T20I. His strike rate is 164.32 and average is 36.15. He has made one century and five half century. His highest score is 100.
He becomes 24 this year so time is on his side. If Jaiswal is chosen for the T20 World Cup, Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill are his Challengers at the top order.
