Ahead of 2nd Test WI Test in Dehli, KL Rahul, Jadeja near 4,000 Test runs mark

Ahead of the second India vs West Indies Test, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul are on the verge of reaching 4,000 Test runs. Ravindra Jadeja, fresh off player of the match award and a century, needs just 10 runs. KL Rahul who ended a home Test century shortage, requires 111 runs to join the elite club.

Ahead of the second Test between India and the West Indies at Arun Jaitley Stadium of New Delhi beginning from October 10 onwards, India’s two premium batters, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul are near towards the 4,000-run mark in Test cricket.

The second Test of India vs West Indies series will begin from 10 October 2025 onwards. India already 1-0 up in the series.

In the previous Ahmedabad Test, Ravindra Jadeja, who cracked a brilliant 104* and took home the ‘Player of the Match’ honours, combined with a four-wicket haul,is just 10 runs away from milestone. In 86 Tests, Jadeja has scored 3,990 runs with six centuries and 27 fifties at an average of 38.73.

This year, the all-rounder is in red-hot form with 659 runs made already in seven Tests and 13 innings, including two centuries and five fifties at an average of 82.37.In England with a 516-run series and many vital contributions, Ravindra Jadeja is experiencing an unprecedented hot run of form, which does not seem likely to end anytime soon.

KL Rahul, At Ahmedabad who broke his nine-year-long drought of a home Test ton will be focusing to continue with his unbelievable streak of scores. Presently, KL Rahul is with an average of 36.00 at 3,889 runs in total 64 Tests and 112 innings, with 11 centuries and 19 fifties. KL Rahul best score is 199. 111 more runs will take him to the milestone.

This year,KL Rahul is experiencing his best form in Tests. He scored 649 runs in seven matches and 13 innings, averaging almost 50, with three centuries and two fifties. The Karnataka star with a 532-run series against England, achieved his best Test series ever this year.
