For South Africa series, Rohit Sharma to be reappointed as ODI captain

Amid the busy season,Rohit Sharma is all set to return as captain of Indian cricket team. India actually could see a big change in leadership again, as the Indian squad for the upcoming ODI and T20I series expected to be announced on today (November 22). Last month, Shubman Gill who became team leader in October and led the team India in Australia is all set to miss the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa. Gill has not recovered yet from neck injury.

For South Africa ODIs, Rohit Sharma set for captaincy

Along with Shubman Gill, ODI vice-captain of India Shreyas Iyer is also not selected for ODIs as he also injured while fielding during the third ODI against Australia and is set to be rested for this entire South Africa series at home.

The Indian selectors are set to turn back to Rohit Sharma to captaincy comeback for the three-match ODI series against South Africa, according to CricketNext News18. The squad of India for ODI is likely to be announced on today.
