Second ODI India vs South Africa: All eyes on Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli as India eye series win

Second ODI India vs South Africa: By sealing a victory in the second ODI of the three-match series, Indian cricket team will be looking to seal the ODI series with a match to go. In the second ODI of the three-match series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in New Raipur, Chattisgarh, India are all set to take on South Africa. This will be a very key match for India as India would look to continue the momentum that India Cricket team achieved by victory the first ODI of the series in Ranchi. They will take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, if they win the second match, and hence seal a series win with a match to go.

As India won a high-scoring last-over thriller by 17 runs in which Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav were the the stars. Chasing 350, The South Africa team were 11-3 but Matthew Breetzke (72 of 80), Marco Jansen (70 of 39), and Corbin Bosch (67 of 51) supported South Africa make an impressive recovery, with a four-wicket haul,Kuldeep Yadav was India’s point of difference.

In the first ODI, after a vintage show by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, India posted 349 on the board. Both of them put up their second century partnership in a row. Virat Kohli finished a record 52nd ODI century. After a masterful knock of 135, Virat Kohli was dismissed, while Ravindra Jadeja played an important role of 32 in 20 balls.
