In T20 cricket, Varun Chakravarthy has become the latest to finish 50 wickets and for next year’s ICC T20 World Cup 2026 on home soil he will be focusing to lock in his spot.
Leg-spinner of Indian Cricket Team Varun Chakravarthy, whose cricket career was approximately over two years ago, has added another plume to his cap. The World No.1 T20I bowler of India has become the second fastest Indian bowler to register 50 wickets in the shortest format of Cricket.

In the third T20I match of the 5-T20I series, Captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and chose to bowl first. Bowling unit of India, dismantled the batting line-up of South Africa, bowling them out for just 117 runs off 20 overs.
