The 5th T20I last match will be played between India and South Africa at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad at 7 PM IST. As Team India lead the 5-match series, for a thrilling 5th T20 match, both teams are expected to play their strongest line ups.

On 17 December, 2025, both teams were going to hold their 4th T20 International match. This match was going be the fourth match in the five matches series and is therefore fixed for that date. The venue for the fourth match was The Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow and was to start at 7:00 PM IST with the toss taking place 6:30 PM. Sadly, the match was called off due to excessive heavy fog and very poor air quality conditions, arising in no play and consequently no result being declared. Both teams India and South Africa, however, will now move their attention to the final and 5th match of the series.

For the T20I series between India and South Africa, it has been a fan friendly schedule across India and it has been planned with primary evening slots to suit the fans of Cricket and television audience. The fourth T20 match was to begin at 7:00 PM IST and it was assumed to be in different cities as like Cuttack, New Chandigarh, and Dharamsala early in the tour. The ground of Lucknow has a good batting wicket but fog of winter was a party proper this time. The last T20I match, which could be the next real on field contest, is knocked for December 19, 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, again beginning in the evening.
