During the fifth T20I match against New Zealand on Saturday,T20 captain of India Suryakumar Yadav created history as he became the fastest player to reach 3000 runs in T20 internationals in terms of balls faced.
He achieved in just 1822 balls the milestone and he went past big names like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and many other international players.
Virat Kohli took 2169 deliveries while Rohit Sharma had reached the mark in 2,149 balls.
In the list other players are Muhammad Waseem, Jos Buttler, Aaron Finch and David Warner but with quick scoring rate and aggressive style of play, Suryakumar Yadav now stands at the top.

India chosen the bat first after won the toss. From the beginning the Indian batters delivered an attacking performance. Abhishek Sharma scored 30 runs off 16 balls with four boundaries and two sixes and gave India a quick start. Sanju Samson scored only six runs before getting out.
Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav took control of the innings after the early wickets. Both of them built a strong partnership. Ishan Kishan played powerful knock. Suryakumar Yadav also scored 63 runs in just 30 balls with the help of four fours and six sixes.
