T20 World Cup 2026: Highlights of India vs Pakistan: On Sunday in a high-voltage Group A encounter of the T20 World Cup 2026, India produced a commanding display to rout competitors Pakistan by 61 runs at the R. Premadasa Stadium and booked their place in the Super 8 stage.

Earlier, Ishan Kishan scored 77 off 40 balls, including 10 fours and three sixes which gave India a flying begin. With Tilak Varma, who scored 25 off 24 balls, Ishan Kishan shared an 87-run partnership, while captain Suryakumar Yadav added a balanced 32 to support India to achieve 175-7. Despite early wickets,Shivam Dube (27 off 17) and Rinku Singh (11*) provided the improvement at the end, ensuring a competitive total.

Chase of Pakistan started in trouble. Hardik Pandya beaten early, removing Sahibzada Farhan for a duck in the first over. Jasprit Bumrah then dismissing Saim Ayub and captain of Pakistan Salman Agha in his beginning. The initial milestones left Pakistan Cricket Team reeling at 13/3.
