IPL 2026: Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings walk away with a point each as the match abandoned due to wet outfield

Highlights of Kolkata Knight Riders vs Punjab Kings : KKR and PBKS walked away with a point each as due to wet outfield, the match got abandoned. In the first inning when KKR reached 25/2 in 3.4 overs the match was halted due to rain. Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2026 season got their first point. In the first innings, rain halted play. Due to wet outfield, the match has been abandoned. Even though rain stopped, it was pretty heavy, there were huge puddles on the field. Due to this the umpire was speaking to both Rahane and Iyer and they have reached a decision and match was not resume due to huge puddles.
