IPL 2026: Highlights of DC vs GT: With a nail-biting one-run victory over Delhi Capitals, Gujrat Titans secured a dramatic first win of IPL 2026 season. The Gujarat Titans posted 210 for four with the help of explosive half-century from Jos Buttler (52 off 27), commanding 70 of Shubman Gill, fiery 55 off 32 of Washington Sundar. Return to form of Buttler was apparent as he unleashed his trademark aggression, while GT set challenging total ensured by Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar.

Delhi Capitals with KL Rahul’s 92 off 52 balls and 41 off 24 balls looked well poised to chase down the target. These two players laying a solid foundation through a 76-run opening stand in 8.1 overs. But in the middle over three-wicket burst of Rashid Khan shifted the momentum, slowing DC creating pressure and DC’s progress.

In the final two overs, the match turned into a roller-coaster. DC required 36 runs, and David Miller hit back with 23 runs in penultimate over of Mohammed Siraj. With 13 runs needed in last over, Miller under immense pressure faced Prasidh Krishna. As Miller refused a single, the penultimate ball proved costly, which was showing a lack of trust in his partner Kuldeep Yadav. Miller missed a slow bounce on the final delivery and Kuldeep was run out while attempting the run. A review proved unsuccessful which was for a wide, sealing fate of Dehli Capitals at 209 for eight.

Mukesh Kumar (2/55) and Lungi Ngidi (1/24) for Delhi Capitals were the pick of the bowlers. Chasing the target, knock of KL Rahul went in vain, but his 76-run opening partnership with Pathum Nissanka (41 off 24) in 8.1 overs gave momentum to chase of Delhi Capitals. Thereafter, however, no any batters of Delhi Capitals could produce substantial scores before unbeaten 41 off 20 balls of David Miller kept them in the hunt till the last ball.
