Nine-wicket victory over Australia in the second One day International at Adelaide Oval due to Haris Rauf’s magnificent 5-29 and opener Saim Ayub’s 82 off 71 balls powered Pakistan to a commanding nine-wicket victory. This victory leveled the three-match series in style with Pakistan chasing down the target with 23.3 overs remaining.

Haris Rauf was the bunch performer, his blistering pace dismantling Australia’s batting order in the 2nd game in a row. Following up on his fiery spell in Melbourne, he showcased a fast-bowling masterwork in Adelaide, assert five wickets.

Pat Cummins, Australia’s captain expressed disappointment and assessed his team’s performance.

” It was not one of our best days,” Cummins acknowledged. “They bowled well, but we should have done better and scored more than 160.” He noted that seam movement added to the challenge, telling, ” We tried to attack, but it wasn’t to be.”

Regardless of the loss, Pat Cummins voiced self-confident in Josh Inglis, stating, ” I will leave it to him; he has some experience. Let him be himself.”

Cummins told the best part of the importance of preparation for the upcoming Test series versus India.

” We have got a week at home. Good training sessions are required; Our minds now shift to the red ball,” he told, underscoring the team’s focus on the Tests.
