Yasahvi Jaiswal

Yasahvi Jaiswal is an Indian international cricketer now a days very popular plays for Indian cricket team.His international debut in the first test against West indies in July 2023.He is regarded as best young cricketers in the world.He was scored a century in his first innings in Test cricket.He plays in domestic cricket IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals.In list A cricket he score double century as a youngest cricketer.He also was leading run-scorer at the 2020 under-19 cricket world cup.He was came in attention when he scored double century in two consecutive test matches against England in a 5-match Test series in 2024.He is 3rd youngest cricketer in Test history to have two double centuries in his name after Sir Don Bradman and Vinod Kambli in the same series. He equaled the world record held by Wasim Akram for the most number of sixes (12) scored by an individual in a test innings.

Early Life

Yashasvi was born in Suriyawan, Bhadohi,Uttar Pradesh as 4th out of 6 children to Bhupendra Jaiswal who was owner of a small hardware store and Kanchan Jaiswal a housewife.After 10 years he went to Mumbai for taking training at Azad Maidan.He has initially accommodation in a dairy shop in return for work but was evicted by shopkeeper as was unable to work frequently. As a result ,he was started living in a tent with the groundsmen at the Maidan where he sold panipuri to make ends meet.

After living in tents for 3 years Yashasvi cricketing potential was spotted by Jwala singh in December 2013 who run a cricket academy in Santacruz. He provided Yashasvi a place for living before becoming his legal guardian.

Jaiswal is the first player in test history to hit twenty sixes in a series. At age 22,he is 2nd player to score 500 runs in a test series after Sunil Gavaskar.
