In the junior age he was ranked as world no.22 and won 2 titles on ITF junior circuit.In 2018 becoming professional Carlos won 3 titles on ITF Men’s world Tennis Tour and 4 on the ATP challenger Tour and broke into the top 100 in rankings in May 2021.After which he won his first ATP title at the Croatia open in July.At the US open he ended 2021 in the top 35 after reaching his first major quarter final.In Feb 2022 at the Rio open he won his first ATP 500 title after this Alcaraz won his !st Masters 1000 title at the Miami open and his 2nd ATP 500 title at the Barcelona open in April 2022, propelling him into the top 10.In last 2022 carlos won his 1st major singles title at the US open.went on to finish the year as the youngest- ever year-end world No. 1 was later named the Laureus world Breakthrough of the year for his performance in the season.
