Riyan Parag was once again leading the Rajasthan Royals against Kolkata Knight Riders as Sanju Samson was not playing for Rajasthan Royals against Kolkata Knight Riders. The inaugural IPL Champions have already droop off of IPL 2025 and they have nothing much to gain from this fixture. Rajasthan Royals (RR) are once again without their skipper Sanju Samson, for their away match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens. Sanju Samson who is wicketkeeper-batsman has missed some matches for Rajasthan Royals and sitting out again and Riyan Parag is leading the team in his absence.
The reason for Sanju Samson was not playing the yesterday match was due to a side strain which he suffered in the match against Delhi Capitals on 16th April 2025. First three matches which he was played as an Impact player and was once again out of the playing XI.
Sandeep Sharma was also not playing the match of Rajasthan Royals due to a fractured finger. The fans of Rajasthan Royals made three changes in their playing XI. Only a fit-again Wanindu Hasaranga made his return to the final XI.
