IPL 2025: Saurav Ganguly supports BCCI, states ‘This decision had to be taken’

IPL 2025: Considering the tensions escalating between India and Pakistan, former Indian cricket team skipper Sourav Ganguly supported the decision of BCCI’s move to suspension the IPL matches for a week. In the starting Sourav Ganguly has told that India should cut cricketing ties with Pakistan in the after-effects of Pahalgam attack.

Considering the India-Pakistan tensions, the BCCI on Friday declared that it has decided to suspend the balance of the ongoing TATA IPL 2025 with immediate effect for one week.

The media advisory was published by BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, who added that further updates regarding the new schedule and venues of the IPL 2025 tournament will be announced in due course after a extensive assessment of the situation after consulting with stakeholders and relevant authorities of the IPL.
