In the last outing of Kohli, he scored 62 runs in 33 balls against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), his seventh half-century of the season. This took his total up to 505 runs and to number 4 (though he was briefly the Cap-holder too). Actually, the some top scorer from the past some match grabbed the Cap from each other. The table-topper, Mumbai Indians’s Suryakumar Yadav has 510 runs and on the fifth-placed Gujarat Titans’s Jos Buttler has 500 runs. Within these ten runs, two other GT batters, B. Sai Sudharsan (509 runs) and Shubman Gill (508 runs) involved in the race. After this Virat Kohli comes, who requires to score just six runs to achieve the Orange Cap back once more.

Pabhsimran (No. 7 with 437 runs) will get quickly, though. On Sunday afternoon, Punjab Kings go up against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the next match, and then the Gujarat Titans trio will get a go against Delhi Capitals, knowing where Kohli stands on the table, and how they need to go to get back to the top.
