Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin said that opener Rohit sharma will not left the Mumbai Indians franchise and he will continue playing for the franchise in the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.
Ashwin told on his YouTube channel ” Even if you think like Rohit, It’s not wrong at all.I don’t want any headache. I have been a captain for India.I have captained Mumbai many times.Even if I am not a captain.I am going to Mumbai happily.If I play for Mumbai,it’s super. I am sure most players are like that. After a stage, money doesn’t matter for some of those players.That’s the thing,”

Rohit Sharma had satisfactory IPL 2024 season. He was scored 417 runs with average of 32.07 and strike rate of 150.In IPL 2024 he scored a century and fifty,with the best score of 105*. Rohit has played 199 IPL matches in Blue and Gold dressing, scoring 5,084 runs with a strike rate of 129.86 and at an average of 29.39.
He has scored for Mumbai Indians a century and 34 half-centuries in 195 innings. His best score with the MI was 109*.After taking skipper post from Ricky Ponting in 2013,Rohit took Mumbai Indian to their golden period, by winning the trophy five times (2013,2015,2017,2019 and 2020) in 10 years and reaching playoff twice.
