Asia Cup 2025: Indian cricket Player arrival details, practice timings and all details you need to know

Defending Champions India are ready to begin their Asia Cup 2025 preparations with practice sessions in Dubai. Players of Indian squad will assemble individually in Dubai, with Team coach Gautam Gambhir and skipper Suryakumar Yadav already enroute. India will start their campaign against UAE on 10th September, followed by a much-anticipated match against Pakistan on September 14. Defending Champions India will begin their completion of preparation for the Asia Cup 2025 with a mature practice session on today evening at the ICC Academy in Dubai. The practice, scheduled from 6pm to 9pm which will be the first joint workout ahead of the Asia Cup 2025.

This time as like previous tournament, no any preparatory camp was arranged in India. Alternatively, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has told the Indian players to gather directly in Dubai for an increased run of practice sessions ahead their campaign opener.

All players of Indian squad have began leaving for Dubai in batches. All-rounder Hardik Pandya and Captain Suryakumar Yadav are already departed. Shubman Gill who is newly appointed vice-captain Shubman Gill will join the squad from Bengaluru.

This time there is no group departure, and players travelling separately and joining the squad in Dubai at different times. By yesterday evening all members have been told to assemble in Dubai as preparations officially going from Today.

The Asia Cup 2025 will start on 9th September, Tuesday with Hong Kong facing Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi. India, focusing to defend their crown, and will begin their competition against host country UAE in Dubai on 10th September Wednesday. The playoffs will go after from 20 September.
