Captain of India Harmanpreet Kaur, ahead of the Women’s World Cup was asked about the intense, publicized dispute between the men’s teams, which has been increased higher at the ongoing Asia Cup.

“Well, we can only control one thing which is playing cricket on the field and we are not thinking of other things. Because as cricketers, we can only control the things we have in our hand. “I mean, it’s unbelievable because, you know, when I started playing I never even thought I would get the opportunity to lead my country, it was only in a dream. The ODI World Cup is happening after 12 years (at home), and I think it is going to be very amazing for all of us. It’s all about enjoying this moment and not taking too much pressure.”
