India squad for Asia Cup 2025 will be announced at 1.30 PM IST today with captain Suryakumar Yadav and BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar in a press conference in Mumbai. Bigger question is weather Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer will included in squad or not. Suryakumar Yadav is expected to be retained as India’s T20 captain after being declared fit a few days ago.
Good news for Indian is availability of Jasprit Bumrah who told the selectors that he will play. Bumrah who played only three out of the five Tests in England due to workload management. He will be getting at least 40 days of rest before the Asia Cup 2025 which begins on September 9.
