For Maha Kumbh 2025 ICC Chairman Jay Shah with his family Arrives At Prayagraj

On Sunday International Cricket Council Chairman Jay Shah paid a visit to Ayodha’s Hanumangarhi Temple. Jay Shah,who is newly-appointed ICC Chairman reached to the temple in a traditional Indian dress and offered his prayers to the lord. ICC chairman and former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah reached in Prayagraj on Today along with his family to attend the Maha Kumbh 2025.

Jay Shah, the 36-year-old received a warm welcome at the airport after arriving at Prayagraj.

Before time, Jay Shah on Sunday paid a visit to Ayodhya’s Hanumangarhi Temple. The recently-appointed ICC chairman reached to the temple in a traditional Indian dress and offered his prayers to the lord. Jay Shah on Thursday was elected as a board member of the Merylebone Cricket Club (MCC) advisory board.

Last year, Jay Shah was absent when MCC organized the inaugural World Cricket connects forum. Which observed over 100 leading voices at the Lord’s which will discuss the state of the worldwide game. In the 13 founding members of the new World Cricket connects advisory board,which will be headed by MCC president Kumar Sangakkara who was Sri Lanka captain earlier. Jay shah is one among them.

The additional founding members of the new advisory board are former Director of England cricket, Andrew Strauss, former India skipper Sourav Ganguly, former South Africa opener batter Greame Smith along with England women’s skipper Heather Knight and Jiostar’s CEO (Sports), Sanjay Gupta. Second World Cricket connects forum will take place this year on 7th June and 8th June 2025, before the World Test Championship (WTC) final at the Lord’s which will played between South Africa and Australia.

During his tendency, he supervised the world’s largest cricket stadium development, the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Cricket World Cup 2023 in its entirety for the first time was also successfully held by India.
