Both teams wants to forget this season with foreign recruits of Chennai Super Kings in Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra unable to fire with both Kiwis unable to make their place in the team to young Blood in Shaik Rasheed, Ayush Mhatre and Urvil Patel, which all impressed with the chances they got. With CSK also losing their skipper and most consistent batter in Ruturaj Gaikwad. This season not even MS Dhoni assuming the skipper’s mantle again could help them.
In this season Rajasthan Royals have only one bright spot which is the 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi who scored a 35-ball 100 in only his second match. Their top order, capable of extreme starts have been at odds with skipper Sanju Samson missing significant portion of the IPL 2025 due to injury while Riyan Parag and Yashasvi Jaiswal have had moments of brilliance but have not played well in every match. Rajasthan Royals’s weakest link, however, has been their bowling. Their bowling with all the pressure on the shoulders of Jofra Archer but Jofra Archer unable to make a crash without proper support from the other end.
