Mayank Yadav has started bowling, not full tilt yet, but Akash Deep, who picked up a back issue during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia during November 2024 to January 2025 is unlikely to get the fully fit anytime soon and could well miss the first few matches of the IPL 2025 season. As Avesh Khan is concerned, he has regained fitness but has not joined the squad yet.
Mohsin Khan picked up a calf niggle when he bowled a some days back and the LSG think-tank need to take tough calls before the season begins under the guidance of Rishabh Pant. The decisions are seems to be taken in the next some days and two backup options in Shardul Thakur and Shivam Mavi are already with the side and have been active in the practice sessions and match simulations.

Both Mavi and Thakur went unsold at the mega auction but could end up with a contract by viewing current pace condition in the LSG camp.
