IPL 2025: Orange Cup Standing: Updated after Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals match

Nicholas Pooran tops in the Orange Cup tally while Gujarat Titans’s star batter Sai Sudharsan is currently second in the Orange Cup tally with 273 runs in five IPL 2025 outings. Stars of Gujarat Titans (GT) Sai Sudharshan and Jos Buttler have made great process in the race for the Orange Cap after defeating the Rajasthan Royals by 58 runs in their fifth match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. After scoring 82 off 53, Sudharshan becomes the second-highest run-getter after Lucknow Super Giants batsman Nicholas Pooran, who scored 288 runs in five matches.

On the other hand, Jos Butter also scored 36 runs in 25 balls and is currently on fourth in the Orange Cap tally. Buttler has scored 202 runs in his five IPL 2025 outings. Sanju Samson,skipper of Rajasthan Royals (RR) scored 178 runs. With this he is currently on seventh position on the table. In the top 10 list, Sanju Samson is the only batter from Rajasthan Royals.

Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli under spotlight

Today, changes are expected in the Orange Cap tally as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will quarrel against Delhi Capitals (DC). Virat Kohli, who was last IPL edition highest run-getter, scored 164 runs in four innings, can shift up to fifth position as he needs only 35 runs to surpass Suryakumar Yadav, who is currently on fifth position, scoring 199 runs in five matches, whereas RCB Skipper Rajat Patidar scored 161 runs in four matches, the star batsman needs only 41 runs to surpass Jos Buttler (202)to become fourth in the list.
