IPL 2025: Playoffs venues of IPL 2025 disclosed; Here is reason why Chennai missed out

After suspension of IPL 2025 for around one week the tournament is all set to resume and will begin on 17th May. The final of the tournament has been delayed by nine days and will now take place on 3rd June 2025.

As we all know the IPL 2025 was running smoothly, had to be discontinue due to tension between India and Pakistan. India and Pakistan war type situation appeared and situation was so bad that the running match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in the Dharamsala at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association stadium was called off in the mid-way of the match.

As soon as both India and Pakistan was called the ceasefire the BCCI didn’t waste much time and announced IPL 2025 remaining 17 matches schedule of the IPL 2025 season including playoffs. Two double headers will be in the revised schedule of the tournament.

As the BCCI doesn’t want to take any needless risk, the balance matches of the IPL will be played across only six venues – Bengaluru, Mumbai, Lucknow, Delhi,Jaipur and Ahmedabad. These cities will see the balance 17 matches of the IPL 2025 being played.

On 29th May the playoff of the tournament will begin with Qualifier 1, followed by Eliminator on 30th May. The second Qualifier and the summit clash will take place on 1st June and 3rd June 2025 respectively.

The BCCI, still didn’t announce the venues for the playoffs matches by telling that BCCI will published an official statement on playoffs venues soon. As per reports the governing body has already decided on Playoffs venues.

As per reports Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is ready to host the final match of the IPL 2025 while Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will hosting the Qualifiers and Eliminator matches.

Reason behind the BCCI not scheduling the remaining IPL 2025 matches in Hyderabad and Chennai is weather in both cities

The governing body has made this decision keeping in mind the weather in both cities, so BCCI didn’t host the remaining matches in Hyderabad and Chennai.

As per point table, GT are at the top, followed by RCB at two. Punjab Kings are on 3rd place, followed by Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals in 4th and fifth place respectively, It is interested to know which team among all of them will be in top four.
