IPL 2026: As playoff race intensifies, JioStar powers TATA IPL 2026 to its highest-ever reach

As teams of TATA IPL 2026 head into a high-octane event for the play-offs, JioStar continues to witness supported growth in reach and engagement across linear TV and digital platforms. With playoff spots still wide open, TATA IPL 19 season has maintained a level of unpredictability that has converted into TATA IPL 2026 recording its highest-ever reach, with a combined reach of 1.1 billion while reach on linear TV has kept in step with its strong footing and well on course towards the 500-million-mark, digital reach increased by 15% and watch-time increased by 7%.CTV has seen a 25% increase in reach with watch-time up by 20%. Watch-time in the regional language has increased by 42%. This data reflects the gradual rise over time in TATA IPL viewers across platforms, formats and devices.

Compared to last season of IPL, JioStar’s presentation of the TATA IPL 2026 has been driven by 125 new advertisers, spanning a diverse canvas of names. On digital, 22 sponsors have partnered with JioStar while 16 have come on board linear TV, comprising a mix of heritage Indian brands and new-age, technology-led platforms that reflect the national scale and growing relevance of TATA IPL for brands.

This has been bolstered by innovations such as Jio Star’s “Champions Wali Feed”, featuring legends, former champions, and leading voices of the game, such as Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan and Virender Sehwag, among many others who bring fans deeper analysis, untold anecdotes, and alongside live action real-time match predictions. Every matchday now carries significant playoff implications, which continues to keep audiences invested across demographics and regions.
