At the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday (14 April), Chennai Super Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 32 runs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) faceoff.
Chennai completed their first innings at 192/5 with Sanju Samson highest scoring for them with 48 off 32. Ayush Mhatre also scored 38 off 17 while Dewald Brevis chipped in with 41 off 29.
Kartik Tyagi picked 2 wickets for 35 runs while Sunil Narine only conceded 21 runs in his 4 overs, picking up a wicket for Kolkata.
In the run chase, Kolkata Knight Riders could only score 160/7 with Noor Ahmed in his 4-over spell picking 3 wickets for 21 runs. For the Kolkata Knight Riders, 35 off 25 of Ramandeep Singh was the highest individual contribution.
