Australian cricketer Stephen Naro set a record by scoring a triple century in a match which was a great example of hard work and tenacity. This record was made during a unsighted match between Australia and New Zealand which was played on 14th June 2022.

Stephen Naro’s innings was amazing as he scored 309 runs only in just 140 balls and also was not out throughout his stay at the crease. His sparkling knock comprised of 49 fours and one six, which made the kiwi bowlers look on helplessly.

Australia got to a very aggressive total of 541 runs. This total was majorly due to Naro’s innings. This score was too big a hill for the New Zealand team to move up, as they were pack out for 272. Australia finally defeated New Zealand by 269 runs and became winner of the match.

This attainment not only created a record of triple century in blind cricket but also broke the record of Pakistani cricketer Masood Jan which he made 24 years before.Masood Jan had made 262 runs against South Africa in Blind cricket World cup in the year 1998.
