2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be exclusive hosted by Pakistan as per confirmation. A major multi-national cricket tournament for the first time ever— the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy which is knocked for February-March month in 2025.

Before, Pakistan co-hosted the Cricket World cup 1996 with India and Sri Lanka, and one time more they jointly hosted the Reliance cup with India in the year 1987.

These includes 13 Tests, 24 One day Internationals(ODIs) and 41 Twenty20 Internationals(T20Is) which taking place in Pakistan during this period.Pakistan’s journey to bring international cricket back on their soil has been a long and difficult one since the terrible incident in 2009.

Nonetheless, Pakistan has made significant steps in recent years,with several nations agreeing to tour the country for the Test and limited-overs series.

The four cities — Karachi, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Multan have been hosting the matches in Pakistan since 2009.

Zimbabwe was the first country with full member nation touring Pakistan in 2015 and break the ice, six years after the attack.Although Afghanistan and Kenya had toured in 2013 and 2014, but their tours were not granted international rank.

Zimbabwe’s tour marked a critical step in Pakistan’s efforts to bring back international cricket in the Pakistan as the two nations played both ODI and T20I series. All these matches were conducted in Lahore.

In 2017 ,eight years after the Lahore attack, Sri Lanka returned to Pakistan for a T20I match which was the final match of their three-match series.The previous matches, as well as the ODI were played in the UAE. This match was also held in Lahore.

The following year, West Indies become the 3rd Test- playing country to tour Pakistan in the decade,ready to a short T20I series.All these series was played in Karachi.

Multan is the latest venues in Pakistan that has hosted an international cricket series in Pakistan in 2015.Pakistan played ODI series against West Indies in June 2022.
