This created a major indifference in terns of pricing of foreign players and local players. Fans of cricket started trolling on social media to Hyderabad and Kolkata for paying such heavy amount to overseas players and discarding to pay the same amounts to the indian players.

Arun Dhumal revealed that new policies to avoid such things. New policies are going to be made to abolish this issue and that any step will be taken only after consideration with all IPL franchises.He told we have taken note of the pay disparity it creates.Arun Dhumal said We will definitely conduct a review and come out with a new policy to address the issue. Before deciding further we will discuss with the franchises.

Arun Dhumal indicate that there will possibly be a cap on player purchase and that franchises will be refrained from paying amounts over a set limit.As we might see in mini-auctions franchises being obliged to not cross the 20 crore mark and also make sure that players under that amount.
