Rohan Jaitley, who is the son of the late Arun Jaitley, from last 4 years serving as the President of the DDCA, and was recently elected for a second term without opposition by the Delhi association according to the sources.
Walking on his father Arun Jaitley’s footsteps Rohan Jaitley become a lawyer focusing on Supreme court and Delhi High court cases.In the starting of this year, he was also named as Central Government Standing Counsel for the Delhi High Court.
And same like his father Arun Jaitley, Rohan took up the cricket administration when he was elected to the DDCA presidency in the year 2020.Before him, his late father served as the DDCA president for the duration of 14 years.Dehli cricket stadium is named in the memory of late Arun Jaitley.
His main competitors for the post of BCCI secretary are Congress Rajya Sabha MP and current BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla, BCCI Treasurer Ashish Shelar and IPL chairman Arun Dhumal.
