Rohit gurunath sharma was born on 30th April 1987 and is Indian international cricketer and current captain of Indian cricket team in all formats. He is one of the greatest opening batters all the time.Rohit is know for perfect timing,six hitting abillity and leadership skill.He plays as batsman for Indian national cricket team in international cricket and for Mumbai Indian in IPL. Mumbai Indians won 5 tittles under his leadership.India won 2007 T20 worldcup and 2013 ICC champions trophy when Rohit was a member of team where he plays final of both tournaments.Rohit made 44 centuries in international cricket-30 in ODI,10 in test, 4 in T20internationals.
Sharma currently hold the world records of double centuries in ODIs and also holds the records of most centuries in a single cricket worldcup(5) for which won the ICC men’s ODI cricketer of the year award in 2019.Rohit received two national honours, the Arjun Award in 2015 and prestigious Major Dhayanchandra khel Ratna in 2020.India won Asia cup 2018 and 2023 under his capataincy.
