In Madhya Pradesh a Maharishi Maitri Match Tournament (A unique cricket tournament) organised by sanskriti Bachao Manch in Bhopal.On Occasion of birth anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi vedit pandits wearied traditional Dhoti Kurta and displaying religious marks on their foreheads are competing on a cricket pitch in Bhopal as part of an annual tournament aimed to promoting Sanskrit.This tournament was mainly organised to promote traditional language Sanskrit.Maharishi Mahesh Yogi introduced transcendental meditation to the west, will be rewarded with a visit to Ayodhya.
Total of 12 teams are participating in this tournament.All players of winning team will taken for Ayodhya darshon by Sanskriti Bachao Manch.
Ayodhya is important as the construction of the Ram temple is schedule to take place on 22 January 2024 according to one of organizers.
