Virat Kohli swarmed by fans on arrival in Vadodara for IND vs NZ ODI series opener

Outside the Vadodara Airport, fans gathered in huge numbers to surround Virat Kohli and former India captain had a hard time getting to his vehicle amid a sea of supporters. For the opening ODI of the upcoming ODI series versus New Zealand, star India batter Virat Kohli was surrounded by a sea of fans as Virat arrived at the Vadodara Airport. Kohli, who only plays ODI in international cricket, is among the most favourable names in India and fans of Virat tried to get a glimpse of their superstar on Wednesday.

Kohli found it hard to move towards his car outside the airport due to a sea of fans surrounding him. His people of security too had their task cut out as fans of Kohli mobbed the 36-year-old as Virat moved towards his car after landing.

To welcome Virat Kohli, fans gathered outside the Vadodara Airport. The number of fans kept growing for eager to get a glimpse of their favourite cricketer. As soon as former Indian skipper came out of the airport, the supporters of him got desperate to get as close as possible to Virat Kohli for capturing his photos. Security person of Virat had a hard time for stopping them as the procession turned into a distraction.

Virat Kohli name was chanted by fans as he struggled to move past the crowd. However, the security persons managed to push the Kohli through to the car. Virat appeared little frustrated.

The India vs New Zealand ODI series begin on 11th January at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara before moving to Rajkot. The final ODI of the series will be played on January 18 in Indore. After finishing ODI series both teams will play five T20Is against each other. Fans are excited to watch Virat and Rohit in India colours. With a century and half century in Vijay Hazare Trophy, Virat Kohli remains in stunning form.
